Property and Financial Disputes
Disputes will often arise in respect of property when people are not married. Such disputes often arise out of the breakdown of a relationship but this is not always the case.
The parties may jointly own the property or not. A person may have an interest in a property even though they are not registered on the legal title and the property is in fact "owned" by another person.
Disputes will often arise following the breakdown of a relationship in respect of other jointly owned assets e.g. Joint bank accounts, shares ect. A former partner may owe you money.
Cheesman and company family department deals with matters of this nature.
